[Hiro the Dense]

I thought the character designs were cute, but I feel the comedy sorta fell flat on it's face. The premise isn't a bad idea by any means, the way it was sorta beat in so frequently though without, in my opinion, much of a joke than just "i meant it in the literal way". It wouldn't be such a problem if it was a short thing resolved in a comedic way, but it drags on, like in the throne room for example.

Another character this reminds me of, that holds a similar trait, is the Goku from the Dragon Ball Abridged Series. He is just this big idiot that takes things literally and throws it out of proportion in a way for the opposing character to bounce off of. I see the same thing attempted here, whether derived from this or not, and I feel that it falls short.

Anyhow, not too bad!

[The 2nd Wilhelm Tragedy]

This short is a well crafted throw-back to the 1930's rubber hose era with a touch of modern capabilities and style, that are noticeable, but do little to hinder the feel it's going for as a whole and makes it that much more of a enjoyable experience.

It makes me believe this is what someone who was thrown from the 30's into the modern day would make.

That being said, I do wish he collaborated or even created his own music to put to it. Being someone who's searched through royalty free music, I've heard this song before plenty of times. However, I do think he made the best of what he had. I'll tell you one thing though, this short has improved my opinion of the song. Now every time I hear it, I'll think of his kick-ass remote controlled boxing robot!
